Hilary Kennedy brought VIG to the UK in the early 90s, and continues to be a leading developer of Video Interaction Guidance (VIG) in the UK, She is currently joint CEO of AVIGuk focusing on Training, Research and Development.
I am a chartered educational psychologist and an Honorary Research Associate at University College London.
I deliver VIG Training as a sole trader named Video Interaction Guidance hk ( VIGhk)

I have recently been involved in the Initial Training course revision and am one of the three 'reliable' tape marker for the advanced practitioner accreditation process
I am based in London and Scotland, have developed online trainings for all VIG activities and am prepared to travel where COVID restrictions permit.

I am developing new VIG training methods, lead VIG training in perinatal teams throughout the UK and am involved in international VIG developments in Czech Republic, Finland, Greece, Italy, Turkey, Tanzania, Ecuador and Mexico.
I have co-edited two books on VIG with Miriam Landor and Liz Todd. Video Interaction Guidance: A Relationship-Based Intervention to Promote Attunement, Empathy and Well being in 2011 and Video Enhanced Reflective Practice (VERP: Professional Development through attuned interaction) in 2015. I have written many articles and has contributed chapters to 3 recent books on Innovative Research in Infant Wellbeing, Family Justice and Neglect.
