I am an Advanced VIG Supervisor and Trainer.  I deliver Initial Training Courses, Mid-Point Reviews, Practitioner Accreditations and Supervision to those training to become Accredited Practitioners, Advanced Practitioners and Accredited Supervisors.

Since January 2022 I have provided VIG training, supervision and accreditation, delivery of VIG Clinical Skills teaching and marking of video tapes and VIG case reports for the University of Exeter's Postgraduate Diploma in Psychological Therapies Practice (Children, Young People & Families): Autism & Learning Disabilities (Jan 22 - Feb 24) and 0-5s/Infant & Early Years Practitioner (Mar 23 - current) pathways.

From July 2022 to December 2024 I was co-investigator and VIG lead, providing training, supervision and fidelity coding of video tapes, for an NIHR-funded feasibility Randomised Controlled Trial of remotely-delivered VIG with families of children with a learning disability referred to specialist mental health services, working alongside colleagues from UCL, Cardiff University, the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, Guy’s and St Thomas' NHS Foundation Trust and The Challenging Behaviour Foundation.

Since September 2025 I have been a Specialist Advisor for the Supporting Synchrony and Attunement research project (NIHR ARC Kent, Surrey and Sussex) at the University of Sussex, supporting participant engagement by informing recruitment plans, ensuring the project's methods effectively capture the pattern of interaction between parents and autistic children, including developing a coding scheme to capture the type of change seen as a result of VIG intervention, and disseminating findings.

I am a member of the AVIGuk Advanced Practitioner Accreditation marking team, the AVIGuk Publishing and Research Advisory Group and a VIG for Intellectual Disability Special Interest Group.

I can travel to Central and North London, Hertfordshire, Central Bedfordshire, Bedford & Luton, as well as attending via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.
