Hello, I'm Jemma.

I work with children and young people, their families, and the professionals around them. I help people understand what a child's behaviour is trying to tell them, and build from there. I trained in Video Interaction Guidance because I believe some of the most powerful shifts happen not through advice, but through really seeing the moments of connection that are alrrady there, and helping people build on them with warmth and confidence.

Before training as a psychologist, I was a primary teacher, so I understand what it's like to be in the classroom with a child day after day, doing your best with the information you have. That's stayed with me - I want the people I work with to leave feeling more capable, not judged.

My approach is grounded and human. Whether we're working together on VIG, or you're coming to me for a wider assessment or piece of consultation, my aim is the same: to make psychology feel accessible, useful, and compassionate - always something that happens with you and never something that happens to you.
