I am a Consultant Clinical Psychologist based in Manchester. I work for the NHS, heading up the training programme team that trains Educational Mental Health Practitioners at the Psychological Therapies Training Centre. My clinical roles have included 15 years working in a CAMHS led early intervention service, delivering a range of evidence based interventions in Sure Start Children Centres, notably Video Interaction Guidance and Evidence based Parenting Programmes. I have a longstanding interest in the relationship between Parent and child mental health, as well as measuring outcomes. I've been involved in the dissemination of Video Interaction Guidance for over 10 years, and have extensive experience of teaching training and supervision. I am a National VIG supervisor and Trainer, and previously served on the board of AVIGuk as treasurer and am currently the Chair of the Board of Trustees.
